The Listening Space
A community circle for honest reflection on the yoga path
The Listening Space is a free monthly gathering at The Breathing Space for yoga students — both within our community and beyond — who want to reflect, share, and grow together. This circle is open to all students of yoga, no matter your experience level or style of practice.
We may begin with a short reading, but the heart of our time together is open dialogue and svadhyaya — self-study through conversation. The intention is not to arrive at answers, but to create space for real questions, honest sharing, and mutual support.
Rather than a fixed curriculum, the direction of our conversations will emerge organically from the group itself. If a particular topic arises — such as navigating injury, cultivating discipline, or staying present in challenging moments — we may return to it in a future session, diving deeper with curated readings or discussion prompts.
Each month, suggested readings and reflection material will be shared on the blog and sent via the monthly newsletter, so participants can engage with the themes before or after we meet.
As the facilitator, I’ll hold space for the conversation, offering guidance and structure, but the wisdom of this gathering will come from the group — your voices, your experiences, your insights.
Come as you are. Bring your questions, your struggles, your lived experience. Your presence matters.
